ROSELLE RACERS
The Roselle Racers Swim Team is a member of the DuPage Swim and Dive Conference. We positively enhance the development of our community's youth by instilling self confidence, achievement, a healthy fitness routine, and a sense of belonging for boys and girls ages 5-18. The Roselle Racers offers a positive place to learn and grow, while having a lot of fun in the process!
Roselle Racers Swim Team
AGES 5-18
Give your child the opportunity to build confidence, friendships, and strong swimming skills this summer with the Roselle Racers Swim Team. Head coach Tim Layer is one of Lake Park High School’s swim coaches and creates an environment built on positivity, team spirit, and personal improvement. All school age children and teens of varying swim levels and abilities are welcome. Swimmers should generally be able to swim one length (25 yards) of the pool.

Junior Racers
AGES 5-10
Are you interested in joining the swim team, but not quite able to swim 25 yards? Then Junior Racers is for you! This program is a great way for newer swimmers to dip their toes in and develop their skills and confidence. Swimmers will attend practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm and have an opportunity to compete in a few exhibition races throughout the season.

FAQs
Are all practices mandatory?
While attending practices is encouraged, they are not mandatory and the time commitment is flexible and up to each swimmer or family. The season will run from May 30 until mid/late July.
When are swim meets held?
Meets are held on most Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.
Do swimmers need to purchase pool passes?
Yes, all participants must purchase a Kemmerling Pool Pass for the season. This can be purchases as an individual pass or as part of a family pass.
What are the payment options? Do I have to pay all at once?
There are two payment options for the Roselle Racers and Junior Racers program. Either pay in full at the time of registration or enroll in the payment plan with 50% of the program fee due at the time of registration and 50% to be auto-debited from your selected card on 5/28/2024. If opting for the payment plan option, registration must be completed in person. If registering after 5/28/2024 registration fees must be paid in full.
Can my child participate in both Roselle Racers & Camp Roselle?
Yes! All you have to do is register for both programs and Roselle Park District staff will transport swimmers from practice to the Clauss Recreation Center for Camp Roselle (minimum of 5 registrants required).
