Description of Indoor Venues

Gym

The gym is available for athletic events and your other fun group activities! The possibilities are endless! Reserve it for private coaching sessions, your scout group to let out some energy, shooting baskets/playing volleyball during your Maple Room party, or more! Possibilities for games include four-square, kickball, volleyball, and of course, basketball. Number of baskets and the floor lines allow for full-court or half-court games. Our heavy-duty dividing curtain also allows the option of renting only half the gym for a decreased fee.

Maple Room

The Maple Room can accommodate up to 100 people. Round or rectangular tables for seating (and serving) can be set up with cushioned chairs to create the party/meeting set-up you desire! Extra tables can be set up for any catering or refreshments. There is also a refrigerator/freezer and sink available in the room for no additional charge. Please note: in order to keep our facilities in excellent condition, party decorations are limited to table cloths, centerpieces, and free-standing additions. Any decorations or elements requiring tape, adhesives, or tacks are prohibited inside or outside the building. Thank you for your understanding.

Description of Outdoor Venues

Turner Park

Turner Park rental facilities (located at the intersection of Devon Ave. and Roselle Rd., Turner Park address for driving directions is 81 E. Devon/Roselle, IL 60172) are available for a comparably longer range of daily hours than the CRC facilities. Please call the Facility Supervisor at (630) 894-4200 regarding any early morning or later evening hours of rental usage for the Turner facilities.

Pavillion

The Pavilion (picnic shelter structure) is a perfect place to host your company picnic, family reunion, or neighborhood get together. A pavilion reservation also allows you great access to the other nearby Turner features such as our splash pad, fishing pier, and athletic field. (Note: these additional features cannot be reserved.) Personal gas or charcoal barbecues and grills are allowed at the pavilion, however, please carry out and dispose of any used charcoal briquettes outside of the park. There are electrical outlets located at the pavilion but please use as sparingly as possible, as the voltage on these outlets is limited.

Gazebo

Our gazebo is available for rent. It’s a great place to secure for a wedding ceremony and taking wedding pictures! This could be an extra area to have with a pavilion event. Also, this is a great gathering or ceremonial location and very quick walk to the other Turner features. Note: there are benches built into the Gazebo structure but no tables. There are a limited amount of picnic tables present around the perimeter of the Gazebo for your use. Not recommended for large picnic gatherings of 50 or more; the Pavilion is better-suited for this purpose.

Rescheduling a facility rental date or time

Original facility rental date can be rescheduled (pending facility availability) for a $10 fee. Rescheduling facility rental dates is at the discretion of the Facility Supervisor and will be performed on a case-by-case basis.

Full Payment

Total rental fees must be received before any reservation can be made. Also, reservations cannot be ‘penciled in’ or held before complete request is made and/or full payment of rental fees is received. Reservations are completed/processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is best to plan and reserve facilities as early as possible for increased availability options.
